Without having a URL to check, I would start by looking at your web host. It’s common practice to overload shared hosting servers, which can cause intermittent downtime and lots of latency. Send them a support ticket and see if they have anything to say.

Only the main page opens quickly. All other pages sometimes load within 40 seconds.
