I’ve got no layers and the page is center aligned, but the footer is range left. This could be a v5 thing as it does seem to work in v4.
Anyone got this to work?

I found a footer action, but it puts the space at the top of the page in FW5 beta 2… er, and left. Is that what you used, and how’d you fix it???

Send me your email DH and I’ll email it to you. Simon at Softpress ‘adjusted’ it for me for v5.

O.K. I finally figured this thing out… Yikes, nothing like groping in the dark? Apparently you have to put a non-layered html box at the bottom of your page to force the action to put the footer space at the bottom (as opposed to the top). Then the text box you want to grow on the page has to be non layered of course. Now, if I could figure out how to get text in the footer area? Strange.

Well let me say (finally) on this issue… After spending 2 days to figure out how to get it working, it’s easier and more flexible to just use a (non-layered) html box at the bottom of the page as in the footer tutorial! Not only does that give you the capability to center and expand the footer, but you can place text inside of it, which I can’t find any way to do with the “footer action.” Kind of strange, maybe I missed something, but since there are no instructions… that’s understandable… That one’s a mystery!
