Adding a Google Maps link

Hello, I tried to add a Google Maps link, I think I have correctly followed the instructions in the Help guide but just keep getting this message in the iframe

This page cannot be loaded in an iframe (blocked by the page’s X-Frame-Options policy)

Hi Noel,

I just tried it, in the current release version of Xway and in a pre-release version of Xway 1.2, and I don’t have any problems.

What I did:

  1. Visit Google Maps
  2. Choose Share or embed map from the hamburger menu
  3. Switch to the Embed a map tab
  4. Click on COPY HTML
  5. Insert Iframe in Xway
  6. Paste the HTML (Xway extracts the link from what is pasted)

Is this what you did?

I do get the “page cannot be loaded” message if I just copy the link directly from a browser URL field.

Perfect. That’s what I did - I posted the link for sharing and not the Embed link.
