I have a list of songs that I want to link to audio tracks to be played when clicked. Any ideas on how to set this up? Thanks in advance…

We have used flash to do this before, to create a button that can start, and stop, a music track when the user requires. Then the flash button (file) goes into a Freeway page.

Yeah, there are also a bunch of these available on the web. Wimpy player springs to mind:

They all tend to use Flash.

Thank you for the responses…
Things were easier using Frontpage on my PC… All I had to do was select the text and create a hyperlink to the audio file and all worked fine… Can’t seem to do this in Freeway Express though…

Well, the suggestions given regarding Flash will give a reliable,
unified experience for your visitors no matter what browser or
platform they use. As long as they can play Flash of course, but if
they can’t they probably can’t handle audio in any other way either.
Linking directly to an audio file will generally work, but as has
already been pointed out the precise behaviour will vary - quite a
lot - across browsers. Even if you were still using FrontPage you’d
be better advised to try one of the Flash solutions.

Oh sorry, I assumed you were wanting something a bit more complex,
like a media player or something. To do what you mentioned just use
the Link To File from the Insert menu or apply the Graphic Link to
File Action to a graphic item from the Item menu. All this can be done
in Express, no problem.
Hope this helps.
