Adding variations to the E-Buy form

I’m bumping this old thread back up as it gives a good way into my question, which is similar to the example provided by Lewis above, but differs in one crucial respect:

I’m trying to use the E Product Variation action to offer variations in size and price between otherwise identical items. The problem is that the E Buy Form has a fixed price, which isn’t overridden by the E Product Variation

Can anyone suggest how this can be done?

All I want is a drop-down menu showing
Size1:Price1 / Size2:Price2 / Size3:Price 3

Can’t believe how hard it is to find out how to do the simplest things in FW sometimes…

TIA

Jim

I’ve always used Tim’s Mal’s actions and haven’t looked at those built in,
so I cant comment except that it isn’t hard to make a drop down with
individually priced products via Tims actions.

http://www.freewayactions.com/product.php?id=016
it cost a bit but not a lot.

in case it helps
regards
Brian

Thanks, Brian - I’ll look into that, but it kinda beggars belief that the FW Shop kit can’t do somethings as basic as this. Maybe someone else will come in…
