Curious and amusing. I just had an email that I sent to this list
(forum, whatever) held for moderation on the grounds that the content
might be ‘administrivia’. My post was a short (three word) reply, and
admittedly it wasn’t going to change anyone’s life. But this
moderation was a surprise.
The mailing list is run through the gray-beard Python application
Mailman. There are a lot of things you can do, administratively
speaking, just by sending it properly worded messages. I have no idea
what they all are, just that they exist. Likely your message was
interpreted in that fashion.
