Adobe Kuler as a plugin for Color Picker

Found this in a blog entry from Zengobi Software (makers of Curio). It is a kind of a plugin, that would enable to make some use of Adobes Kuler within the systemwide colopicker palette. The plugin is called Mondrianum. Link for Mondrianum: Lithoglyph | Mondrianum, link for Kuler is http://kuler.adobe.com/ and this is the blog entry: http://www.zengobi.com/blog/2008/01/curio-and-kuler-colors.html I did not tested it yet, so I cannot say how useful it is (there are some other tools for creating color schemes as well, i.e. Painters Picker (http://www.old-jewel.com/ppicker/) or Shades from chromaticbytes).

I have both Painters Picker and Shades and find them useful. I also have Color Picker Pro which is a little different purpose than the first two, but can be useful for pulling hex value out of any color on screen. I’ll take a look at this also…but it says right on the web site “for Leopard 10.5” so I guess that leaves out those who haven’t upgraded yet.

Ok, I took a quick look. Works as advertised. Seems a bit limited as it only appears to be for viewing the color (or colour, or Kuler?) schemes that others have created. It looks like in order to create your own color schemes you use the flash frontend at Kuler.Adobe.com which requires a login and password.
