Animated header

Hi all,
See link above, has someone done this before in freeway?
Is there a freeway example available or can someone help me on my way to integrate this in freeway

Thanks a lot

I think Ernie did something similar - not sure where to find it.

As far as integration in a FW site goes you would be best to start with that 1st line of text on an otherwise blank page and choose 1 of the transitions to work with. Concentrate on the styles associated with that.

There will be some extended code and markup involved - what is your skill level?

Of course the example that you showed us on Codepen uses jQuery

If you wanted to avoid jQuery there are other pure CSS options - it will depend on your audience and their browser support.

Thx dave look and play with it tommorow.
I think the html part (the classes and span) will be most tricky for me.
Not much experience with this

Hi Eric,
I have used the CSS option some month ago in a clients website. It is a nice effect. If you like, I can send you a FW file as example. Propably it is easier than to understand how it works.

Hi,

With the kind help of Sonjanna I added an animated header found on tympanus.net on my website here:
http://www.graphicid.nl

In desktop browsers it works fine, on my Ipad (mini) during different transitions the browser windows rezises automatically a little?

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Thx

I suspect the initial size of the transitioning text is too big/long - retry with shorter words/sentences.

BTW there are also glitches on the Tympanus site using the same transition - maybe you might want to try a different one remembering that only up to date browsers will render it properly.
