animated rollovers

Ok so I’m used to doing rollover buttons etc in freeway, but I’d like to take it a step further with smoother transitions and “animations”…

Take for example clicking a plus (+), having it rotate to form an x rather than simply changing would be ideal.

Am I into a world of coding etc or can this be achieved easily?

Depending on your target browsers (i.e. whether you care about IE < 11, or if you worry that part of your audience won’t see these grace notes), you can do a lot of this with advanced CSS, added to your page with the Extended interface in Freeway. Tim Plumb has done some amazing examples, have a search for CSS3 at the Web archive of this mailing list.
