I’ve since decided to pursue this project, partly to satisfy my own long-standing and nagging curiosity (a kind of proof-of-concept), and partly because I’m generally dissatisfied with what’s currently available.
I suspect it will take a long time to assess this project’s success, and a very short time to recognize its failure, simply because it all hinges on voluntary community support. I’m merely building the infrastructure, the content needs to come from elsewhere.
On a smaller scale I hope it motivates FW users to contribute and eventually proves beneficial to the community at large and compliments other FW-centric resources, perhaps in ways I haven’t yet considered. Though it’s worth noting this isn’t a FW-specific project, it’s merely one aspect of a broader development picture.

P.S .- After the above post I was contacted by someone interested in volunteering to help me build the site. Honestly, I had not considered that possibility. If anyone else is interested in helping out in a technical way let me know. I’ll give it some thought, though understand I’m not in any way saying I will do it.
