Is using a torrent client a bad suggestion?
The are positive uses for P2P apart from the usual negative connotations.

I kept 3.2.1. (10,7MB)
Having no troubles with 3.3 and SnowLeopard (on latest biggest iMac) apart from some video glitches which I must send to Nick.

Cheers

What about using the public folder on Dropbox?
I should still have the earlier version which I could place there or even the iDisk folder!

Dropbox is a good idea too. Didn’t think of that one.
I’ve located my DMG, if anyone needs it?

I’m not put off! I really do think it’s a great application.

Of course, if this really is a bug then I’m sure Purgatory will be on the case and dealing with it as we speak. In the meantime I can still scale objects manually, less accurate I know but it gets you there.

I’ve honestly never found a replacement for it that is easier to use.
Sure, it has it’s quirks, and things that I would really wish for like
stopping the grouping function putting everything onto the current layer
and some better control with the text tool, but apart from that, it’s great.

Unfortunately docs created under 3.3 are not downward compatible. So will hand-scale the ones in 3.3 and, thanks to Schremmer, revert to 3.2.1 for all future usage until this thing is cleared up.

I too am a fan of Intaglio and its ideological predecessors, all the way back to MacDraw, prior to MacDraw Pro. Had to use Freehand for a long time while still at work and hated it. Illustrator not much better. So right now it’s Intaglio or nothing.

The huge, huge problem I have with Intaglio is the lack of a manual and my consequent enormous number of emails saved in my Intaglio mailbox. And BTW, is there a way to tear off the color pallet? If so, I’ve never found it.

Once again, many thanks to you all. You guys are great. Can’t even imagine a more helpful group.

What do you mean by “tear off”? You can drag palettes to wherever you like.

As I said in another thread regarding bugs&issues: do proper bug-reports containing files, descriptions and crash-logs sent via email to support "at "PurgatoryDesign.com.
Don´t expect the developer here fishing for issues.

I second that Tom!
Not only that but Nick has also had time to do a tutorial just for me on how to do clipping paths.

Are you sure you’ve found everything available:

PDF user-guides in French and English to download from the ‘support’ section of the Intaglio website;

in-application help describing, inter alia, every item on every menu;

a comprehensive Applescript dictionary;

plus various third-party examples/tutorial sites.
