I’ve got a client who’s interested in adding the ability to email a photo from a smartphone when a user fills out a parts order form. The form is here:
I suppose it would also be useful (or at least a first step in the right direction) to be able to upload a photo directly from a desktop web browser as well. Is there a way to implement that in Freeway or with an action?
Making the form is simple in Freeway, but there is nothing in Freeway or an actions I know of that would handle the server side of things. Many people here recommend FormsToGo for this. I haven’t used it myself.
Separate from that, there is a way to code an html5 file input so it will trigger the built-in camera or photo “roll” on the iPhone, and maybe on other advanced smartphones. I have an example of that somewhere, but you can try googling for it – I’m traveling today and far from my Mac Pro with all that good stuff.
