Hi
Is it possible to change the size (width) of the audio.js player?
Thanks!
Best,

It seems to be possible, but not easy. You have to override a LOT of CSS to do it, because there are generated elements for every part of the visible player. I tried a few things in the Safari Web Inspector, and basically managed to make it useless. There are some examples on the AudioJS Web site that show different effects, but there’s not a lot of documentation around it.

One thing you might consider is one player interface and multiple “playlist” links, as shown on this page:

Thank you very much, Walter.
I am a bit of a novice at this so I guess I will just use it as it is. Or find another audio player.
If I just drag MP3’s into the page it automatically makes a Quicktime player - easy! Are there any downsides to this solution that I don’t know about?
Thanks again,

The visitor has to have the QuickTime plugin installed. That’s a pretty widely-available player, but it’s by no means universal. (Any Mac user, and any Windows user with an iPod or other iOS device has it, if they’ve installed iTunes.)
The other thing about QuickTime is that the user experience on iPhone and iPod touch is pretty awful. Click the icon, full screen is replaced by QT player interface. Listen (while watching a big Q on the screen) then press Done to return to your Web page. Also, I’m pretty sure that the experience on Android is probably non-existent. I don’t believe there’s a QT plugin on Android at all, although I’d love to be proven wrong.
