… substituted by inspector’s height attribute “flexible” (which means as undefined no height property declared) and its default DIV setting “minimum” which will mean: taller yes - smaller no.

Noop - it is as it is adding new DIVs (or HTML-items in Freeway terms). If I recall it correct, the first FW6 had a defined height as default (which sucked). The so called minimum-height prevents you from collapsing to nil (which was the pain in “undefined height”) - so it’s pretty much OK. If you want a flexible DIV you need to adjust it for each on the fly - a thing you get used to.
