Backdraft modules

Just starting getting used to Backdraft, and most of it seems relatively simple and straightforward.

The modules are basically a heading, image and text set in one column. What if I wanted the image on the left and text to the right of it, so 2 columns in effect. Is it best to do this on 2 modules, one being image and the other being text? Or, if in one module, I would need the text to mov to under the image when on a mobile - what settings would I use for this? Many thanks.

I would to this with two items (objects) in one wrapper (clear fixed) cause the two child-items (objects) are left-floated.

Now you can set the both objects to desired width (25% - 75% e.g.) and at a later breakpoint clear them both width 100% so one drops below the other.

I btw. always prefer the “One DIV more” method (if this method would exist). It’s all easier to handle later (positioning and even display).

Cheers

Thomas

The simplest way to handle this would be to use the two column module - remove the text from the left column, and the image from the right. You can adjust the widths of the columns as you see fit as the Box Sizing action will convert it to the correct percentage.

This is essentially the same thing that Thomas described above, but in “Backdraft-speak”.

Hi there! I’ve had a lot of help previously on here from you great bunch out there and need some help again please.

I now have learned how to make images fit browser (albeit horizontally only) - does anyone know how, if Im using a full image fitting browser, to put a panel down the left hand side of the image for eg. menu/text ?
I can do it in part, but it wont reach to the bottom of the page and browser! Im trying to achieve this, see link:

thanks in advance, Jill
