Background question

Hi

I am sure (hopeful) that this is easy to answer as I think I am just
completely missing how to do it!

I want to have a header banner colour or image (full background
width), page body colour of say white, footer colour/image (full
background width).

I want the footer to hold page links etc but I want the white page
area to expand when text only is zoomed/enlarged so that it pushes
the footer down.

Your probably confused by now at my explanation so a similar example
of what I am looking to do is here http://markjonestreesurgery.co.uk

Help and advice as always gratefully received!!

Colin

Hi Colin
This is a fairly standard feature when you use either the Relative Page Layout action or simply create your website using the inline box model - which i personally prefer.

In the link you provided, all the text is on the page is enlarged when the text display size is changed and not just the text within the ‘body’ section. The page then ‘expands’ to allow for the growing content. This is what will happen in your Freeway pages if you construct them in the methods i mentioned above.

You can probably search this forum for tips on inline box model construction.

Dan Jasker had some great videos explaining all this - and thats how i learnt it - but perhaps some of the others here know of a great tutorial for you.

I’d really like to know about this too, such a shame the Dan Jasker videos are no longer available. I’ll start a search for answers on this forum…
