I’ve just been showing Blogger template building to a couple of students at college, and we hit a problem that I’ve seen once before - just a few weeks ago, when showing the same thing to a fellow lecturer.
Basically, the Blogger template works as far as simple structure goes, but no text content at all is brought in. It has been set to the ‘classic’ Blogger template format but we couldn’t get it to behave when the code was pasted into the Blogger HTML template.
You need to set it as Blogger 2.0 (not Classic) in order for it to work.
