Calculator

I wanted to see just how close I could get to a working calculator
using HTML and CSS and JavaScript. Here’s the result: Calculator

Looks best in Safari, not too shabby in Firefox, not sure at all in IE
– I’m afraid to look, frankly.

In IE8 it looks pretty much like you would expect no shadows, rounded corners etc but hey - that is what those guys are used to!

I think that you need a slight JS code tweak though as you cannot enter 0.01 as it defaults to 1

But brilliant and I am surprised how little CSS styling there is.

And looks like a late one - even for you!

Thanks, that’s good to know. No need to wake the slumbering beast of a
virtual OS. Come to think of it, I think the Windows calculator widget
has square corners too. Coincidence?

Hey, good catch. That’s fixed.

I’m like a terrier with a bone when I get going on an idea. After I’ve
rested up, I’ll have to put all the scientific notation in there too.
JavaScript’s Math class has lots of goodies in it. The only down-side
is that the precision is pretty whack. Don’t use this to calculate any
orbits you care about.
