Can something similar to this be built in FW?

The larger image must also trigger another image. I think the most difficult part is the scrolling thumbs. Not concerned with the animated thumbs as they leave the screen though. Any ideas very welcome.

Hi Kryten

Most of that page is a Flash animation. You could create something close using Hype if you don’t want to go down the flash route.

Or use the show/hide layers in Freeway to create something fairly close.

Thanks David. The only thing I’m unsure of is how to create the scrolling thumbs. On some pages there will be a lot, so scrolling is the only option really for the client. Is Hype similar to Easy Web Animator?

I’ve never tried Easy Web Animator having got Flash but not really used for years because of inaccessibility for devices and search engines. Hype creates HTML/Javascript animations (like the Freeway animation actions) which i’ve used a few times now and quite pleased with the results. The Hype animations can then be placed back into your Freeway page.
