Cannot install update?

I keep trying to install the update to Freeway and get a box showing the icon and the arrow to the Applications folder. I drag that as normal to Applications, then get message saying do you want to replace old with the new…yes. Then nothing seems to happen. When I open up Freeway, it is still the old version.
What am I missing?

Rather than doing it that way why not create a folder “Freeway Old” in your Applications folder then put the old version in there before adding the new version to the Apps folder.

I’ll try that. Just did not know if the “ner” was a whole new apps file or just incremental updates.

What’s a “ner”?

Anyway, each update is the complete application. You’ll need your
serial number to reserialise it, but as you need that to download the
update in the first place it shouldn’t be too hard to find.

A "ner: is the word you get when you mean to type “new” but you go two spaces to the right insteaf left.
