can't edit pages i have downloaded from website

I need suggestions for this problem. I have a website up that i made using an older version of freeway. not sure of version number…it was probably 3.x or so. I had a hard drive problem so I lost the originals, but thought no problem, i’ll just download them from the website and edit them. Seems i can’t do that though. When I went to open it up in Freeway 5.1.2 (express), it’s grayed out. I also tried downloading them to my desktop and tried to open from there…still won’t work. Any suggestions on how to get them open to edit them? I am working on making a new master page so that if i have to i can redo the whole website-a lot of work! So if anyone can help i’d be grateful! Thanks!

To edit raw HTML files in Freeway you either need to Import them via “Import HTML” which may be a “Pro” option only. But that alone can be frustrating and time consuming because it’s not always 1:1.

Your best bet would be to take a screenshot of your current site and use the guides to duplicate what you had before. It’ll help the process go faster, but still will take some time.
