I can’t stand the reCaptcah format. It has gone from bad to worse in recent months - totally illegible. I prefer a simple trivia question.

Lol, I’m working now on one of my (older) sites which spammers hijacked. My
hosting provider had suggested a Captcha defense. Not sure how well any
these would work.

I read an article some time ago that some groups use slaves to manually
deal with authentication then hand the laptop off to an experienced hacker

  • assembly line style.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was trying to submit a reCapatcha recently
and I was struggling to decipher the words. It was ridiculous. I’m only
47, not 147, and my eyesight isn’t that bad, I can only imagine how
difficult it is for someone with visual impairments or the elderly.
