Hi - my client is telling me the carousel on this page is failing he’s running -
OS - Ms Vista - running Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421
He says when he clicks to move through the slider it scrolls up to the top of the page?
Can anyone verify that? And also what can I do about it!

Either update to the Carousel 2 Action, or apply the Protaculous 2 Action to the same page, so you get the latest versions of the Prototype.js and Scriptaculous JavaScript libraries added to your page. The versions included in the old Protaculous (Carousel) Action do not work as needed with IE 9 and up.

Forgot to mention – you have to enable Scriptaculous as well in the Protaculous 2 Action – just the default Effects.js is all you need for Carousel.

It works perfectly with Windows 7 and IE9, I can’t speak for Vista though.

I doubt it. The issue is with IE, and old patches needed by Prototype in all versions of IE < 9 actually break its compatibility with 9 and up, because IE 9 and up actually work correctly with respect to the standards. (Ironic, I know.)
