Carousel action Freeway Pro 4.4.1

Hi all,

I need a bit of help with the Carousel action by WaltD. I’m using it for the first time and i’m following the instructions from his website. Here’s what I have done:

1.) Drawn a HTML box
2.) Drawn a graphic box within the HTML box and importing a graphic
3.) Duplicating the HTML box offset 0px/0px, replacing the graphic, duplicating again etc to create a stack
4.) I have then created arrow graphics to navigate the carousel and applied the ‘next’ and ‘previous’ carousel action accordingly. These graphics were placed below the HTML stack.

When I grouped the stack Freeway won’t let me select ‘ITEM > Action’ it appears greyed out in the menu. Have I done something wrong here as in your instruction it tells you to select this and I guess it works when you publish.

I’d appreciate any help or advice.

Okay so I managed to get this working now through trial and error. I have set the auto glide interval to 2 but I want the Carousel to move with the arrows only that i have created and applied ‘next’ and ‘previous’ actions to. If I change the auto glide to 0 I get this jerky kinda movement - I just want the thing to move with the arrows. Any ideas?

Remove the value altogether. That will stop the auto scroll behavior.
