Sure. In the Freeway styles palette, make a new style with the gear
menu. In the Tag field, enter
img.active
…and then tab into the Name field, delete whatever is there, and
then tab back out. (Otherwise Freeway will insist on auto-entering
styleN into that field.)
To make this exact style, the easiest thing to do will be to click on
the Extended button, and then New, and then enter the following Name/
Value pairs. (You will need to click New to enter each one, and Okay
to save each one. There are four individual pairs.)
border-top
1px solid #ccc
border-right
1px solid #ccc
border-left
1px solid #ccc
margin
-1px -1px 0 -1px
You will not need to apply this style to anything on the page in
order to have it publish into your page – tag-only styles just do that.
This will give you the exact pale gray outline that I used on my
example. You can experiment with other colors, thicknesses, etc.
Remember to use the same amount of negative margin as you do border
thickness, otherwise your images will jump around a little. I am
hoping to expand this trick a bit so that you can do more elaborate
things, but for now, this is what I can do with the canned script
that I use.

Ok, that is acceptable - I seemed to have overlooked the subtle
outline. Exactly how can I do this? It dont know the exact steps
to make it active. Actually, I am not sure I did the class style
correctly either. Would it be possible to write a few steps out
for me?
