Go64 reports that Intaglio 3.9.5 has one ‘component’ that is not 64-bit, /Contents/XPCServices/com.PurgatoryDesign.IntaglioHelper32.xpc. Will that affect how Intaglio works?
Go64 only reports as a warning, so maybe not serious.
Has anyone used Intaglio with Catalina?

No, because I can´t run Mojave/Catalina on my iMac2011. I know there´s a patcher but it will disable the 3d-accelaration of the graphic board which makes the Mac useless.

Can anyone clarify whether we should expect Intaglio to be compatible with
Catalina?

(Second try, the list didn’t accept files over 40k.)

Can anybody confirm that Intaglio still runs on a production release of Catalina?
Ingemar’s posted image of October 5, 2019 shows it working on a Beta release, so I am cautiously hopeful.

Yes - I have been using Intaglio on Catalina for some time now but I don’t use many of its more advanced features

The odds are pretty good. Apple can’t make a CPU family switch without an emulator for the old. However, they will drop that a couple of versions ahead, just like they did with the previous ones. 68k under PPC, PPC under Intel 32-bit, Intel 32-bit under 64-bit…
Anything else would be madness, suicidal. So it will work for a while, but we will feel that it is too short, and once they drop it, a whole bunch of unsupported software will stop working.
