Checking a field in a form

Hi, I’ve set up a form on the site I’m building that’s very simple and seems to work well.

I have set up a “from” address in the action for cases where people don’t put in their email address, which is one of the fields in the form.

But I’m wondering whether there’s a way I can ensure that the email address field is filled out so that if the user clicks “Submit,” the form won’t be sent if the email address field is blank?

Thanks,
Martin

There’s a ‘Validate’ Action in the Item Menu, which you could try. I’m not sure if it’s native to Freeway, but you can find it on Action Forge:

Thanks for the lead, Colin. I’ll check it out right away.

Also if you are using Tim’s PHP Feedback form action (highly recommended!) fields called ‘name’, ‘email’ and ‘subject’ will help to properly compose the resulting email you receive
