checking out Freeway pro5

I did a site in iweb and realized that google didn’t like it.
Is Freeway 5 good with google & other search engines?
If my client wanted to make simple changes-text and pictures on the site after its live, what would they use?

To make edits and changes to the files outside of Freeway you can open them up in any HTML editor and they will be read properly. The problem though is that if edits are made outside of Freeway you’ll have to re-put them into your Freeway document to make sure it’s up-to-date. If your client own’s a matching version of Freeway (meaning both pro…or both express) you can send them the files for editing.

As far as Google goes, it’s important to set your h1, h2, h3, etc tags properly for content considering Google doesn’t read META tags, but engines like Yahoo! still do. It’s Freeway’s job to create with ease, but as a designer these things need to be taken into account. Remember, when it comes to web design…function over form.

All correct. Although using Max’s WebYep actions and a copy of WebYep
on the server is a surprisingly easy and flexible way to have your
cake and eat it too!

You can separate out a huge amount of the content management from the
design management, so you can continue to work on a site in Freeway
while the client just logs in using their browser and makes text and
even image content changes to their heart’s content.
