Anyone out-there having experience with this combination? Seemed to me the editor of choice but can’t get it working.
Installed the complete CKeditor folder in the ./opt folder of the webyep-system folder. But after republising and reloading the site the rich-text box opens up without an editor at all.

Rob, I saw this on the WY Forum posted Sept. 11, 2009
CKEditor is imcompatible with FCKEditor - we will add support for CKEditor in one of the next release (unfortunately I cannot state a date).
I would also like to use CKeditor but for now I’m using Tiny MCE until WY updates.
Cheers, Marcel

Hi Rob and Marcel
I thought I better drop you a little note to say wy has now posted a WebYep System, 1.4.5 Pre1 which supports the CKEditor. You can download it from here:
http://www.obdev.at/downloads/WebYep/nightly/WebYep_Plain_1.4.5Pre1_en.zip
The beta WebYep System, 1.5.0 Pre1 is still being developed but if you desperately need multiple logins then you could also give that a try:
http://www.obdev.at/downloads/WebYep/nightly/WebYep_Plain_1.5.0Pre1_en.zip
You can read up about these betas here:
(please be aware both of these are betas)
All the best max

Max,
Thks. I installed the 1.5.0 version the other day. Seems to be stable. Didn’t try it with the CKEditor yet.

Max,
Installed the CKEditor in the usual way (webyep-system/programs/opt). But it doesn’t work. Webyep falls back to the long text editor.

Hi Rob
I have just tried it and with version 1.4.5 pre1 of the webyep system and if I install the new ckeditor 3.0.1 then webyep picks it up as normal.
Have you use the correct versions?

Max,
I downgraded from Webyep 1.5.0 to 1.4.5 and now the CKeditor is working as expected.
Thxs.
