I have sync’t my files with a cloud at my location A in one country I am working from.
At my other working location B in the other country I connected to the same cloud and did sync the computer.
The files I am talking about is are folders that are containing materials for building the site, really everything identical.
I work with totally the same iMac’s and totally the same Freeway versions.
So I downloaded this work folder to my (identical) computer at location B and opened the website.freeway file.
Now there starts the problem:
1 Showcase files were disconnected and were showing the ? mark.
2 At publishing the site, all sources were missing
What did I overlook here?
My idea was just to keep on working (at two locations) on the same website file

Did you copy over the Showcase file and the images that were imported into Showcase retaining the same relative file structure.
ie if the showcase file was in user>docs>showcase on 1 machine and the images in user>docs>images then I think that you would have to mirror that on machine 2
In the freeway doc have you done Edit>Resources to see if any files/images are shown as missing. If so then you will need to ‘find’ them again.
The easiest way to transfer a FW doc and all its Resources is to do a File>Save Archive. This will gather all the resources into one folder which you can then move to another machine, links to Resources intact.
Then you will have to use Edit>Resources in FW to find those missing images.
If the images share a common location then FW should find all the others in the same place when you update one. It is a longer process if your files are spread over a number of folders. That is why FW helpfully creates a Media folder where you should keep the files that you import into FW (or at least a copy of them).
I consider to do what you advice from the machine the file originally was made on. Sync than again with the cloud so that on machine B all will be in place and no missing sources.
Otherwise I’ll have to replace to many files that will cost me 2 to 3 days.
Once you find one, Freeway will notice if there are others in the same offset
I did indicate that but it was maybe lost in translation.
