color problem w/ snow leopard?

Hi,

I just noticed that since updating to snow leopard, suddenly the color doesn’t look the same, the colors look sort of grayed out on the object compared to the pallet swatch… Has anybody else experienced this and / or has a suggestion?

Thanks,
Bill

Yes, there’s a problem with the colour picker and SL. It was raised in an
earlier thread. Awaiting a fix?

Hi Fred,
Thanks for your reply. Is there a fix? I’d like to try it, or do you mean you are also looking for a solution?

I looked for the thread you mentioned, maybe it’s got a different subject line…

appreciate any tips,
Bill

It’s odd but I can’t find that thread now either. However, open the fill
window and select ‘Paint’. From the colour wheel try to select a bright
colour. You can’t. This has been the case since the introduction of Snow
Leopard.

Fred

I think this is what you’re looking for
http://www.freewaytalk.net/thread/view/57607

looking at it a bit closer makes me think this is not exactly the
thread…
I googled “intaglio colour leopard julius” and that’s what came up
but I think it’s close enough

My experience is actually varied. I had that problem with a drawing I created using a jpg image I worked on with a demo version of Pixilmator. Then new drawings began having that problem as well. Then I re-started Intaglio fresh, re-worked an older drawing with all proper colors, and suddenly it’s over- no more problem.

Later I used the same photo, loaded it onto an older drawing, and everything works fine. It looks like my new drawings are working good as new!

Maybe that’s sort of a solution…

Cheers,
Bill
