No, it probably means that they made a typo when coding their site. The code you put into your pages is not used in any way to authenticate to the Google service – you don’t use that to log in, in other words – so they cannot see your hits. More to the point, they can’t see their own hits, either.

They had actaully done a copy and paste on all of my HTML. But the amateur who did it also copied the Google Analytics, hence we were seeing their stats and were alerted to the copy.
After having a polite chat with them, they have taken their site down.
