Contact form won't send

I want to add some contact forms to a number of pages of my site.

I have used forms before without a problem, but this time it’s just not working. Every time I hit Submit I get the error page I created and the email doesn’t send.

The only thing I can think of that’s different is that I have a CSS menu on the page.

Could this be causing the problem and if so is there a way to stop it?

I don’t see anything wrong with the form itself, and naturally I cannot see any of the code in your handler (php) that the Action generated. Have you tried changing any of the settings, particularly around the address that the message is sent from, or to?

Your host may be able to tell you if they have any specific rules around sending mail from scripts – many times, they will restrict you to always sending from a known account in your domain, for example. When that happens, you will need to ensure that you aren’t trying to “spoof” the sender by using the “your email” field in your form as the “from” address. You can change that in the Action interface.
