Hi1
I have placed a number of MP3 samples on a page http://www.martineastwell.com/audiosamples.html. When I open the page,it
seems from the progress bars that all the Quicktime players start to load
the audio at once without waiting from the reader to make the decision to
listen to them. I have “autoplay” and “cache” set to “false”. At the moment,
there are only 4 bits of audio, but I want to put more up. Is there a way to
persuade the audio to sit there doing nothing until someone actually clicks
on play?
Are you sure the link is dead? It works for me-I’ve just looked at it in
both Firefox and Safari. I’ve cleared the caches as well, just I case! I’d
be grateful if someone else would take a look and let me know if it works.
Thanks David (and others)!
When I look at the original posting, the full stop was not part of the link,
but I can see how it could cause problems! Here it is again;
I had been looking at various Flash players, but have been put off by the
fact that iOS does not, as I understand it, support Flash. To be honest,
extensive Googling on the subject makes me very confused as to how this
situation is developing-if any knowledgeable person could enlighten me, I’d
be most grateful!

just remove that.
You will need to use a different method I think to avoid all the files loading
on page load.
Might be worth cosidering a player such as Ephonic or similar.
