I stumbled upon this site and i think this is a great effect…

click the arrows next to one of the pictures - both the little and big change -

how can we do this in FW?

Walters Carousel I believe can be triggered from 1 pair of Tabs ie 2 carousels (vertical and horizontal) and 1 controller.

No, each Carousel has its own dedicated controls. You can have multiple controls driving a single carousel, but not the other way around.
