Just downloaded the app the other day.
Looks nice, but can’t save a file.
It blows up every time i try to save a file, even a very simple file.
I run 10.8.5 on macbook pro 2.2 i7 16gb

There could be several causes of the crashing.
Shut down the computer and restart.
If the problem remains, open the Disk Utility program (in Applications>Utilities)and click ‘Verify Disk Permissions’. When complete, click ‘Repair Disk Permissions’.
If Intaglio is still crashing, drag Intaglio Preferences to the Trash. It’s at:
Macintosh HD>Users>Your name>Library>Preferences>com.PurgatoryDesign.Intaglio.plist.

Just upgraded to v 3.4.3 and had similar problems. I contacted Nick, the developer and he’s released v 3.4.4 to fix the problem (it’s working here).

I had the same problem and the new rev fixed it. I have been getting a lot of other crashes in general and very bad behavior with editing font sizes - plus one fatal freeze with a flashing error dialog (see pic) that didn’t even render properly, beeping incessantly and unable to escape other than force quit (3.4.3) as well.
I’ll play with it and see how things go - though as a new user I’m not getting a very good first impression.
