CSS Drop Down Menus in IE7/Firefox on a PC

I have had a look for this in previous threads but can’t find it so sorry if it’s been covered before but;

I am having a problem with CSS drop down menus in IE7 and Firefox on a PC.

I am in the early stages of developing a site for a client and I noticed that the drop down menu under the “commercial” main link at the top is showing up underneath the flash slideshow! On my Mac everything is fine and the drop down is coming up on top but not on the PC. I have made sure that the item is layed foremost on the page but still no joy.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Mark,
Take a look at this thread for details on adding the wmode attribute
to the SWF object.

Alternatively you could swap out the Flash slideshow for a JavaScript
powered one. For example;
