CSS Menu Action: can the html item have rounded corners?

Can the new CSS Menu Action show a graphic/color with rounded corners instead of the normal square? This sure would be nice if you could make the html item look like a button instead of a block.

You could use a graphic with round corners in the background section
but this will be used for each individual item rather than the whole
menu. Just make sure there is no color set in the background section
and that the image you are using is a PNG (these won’t be transparent
in IE6 though).

Actually I discovered that you can have rounded corners. Just make the background graphic with rounded corners (I used Photoshop) and then use for the background image within the CSS menu action. In this manner I was able to have a different graphic appear for a rollover effect just like the left-side menu bar on this page.

Now the only question I have is the following: is this method more efficient (faster loading) than using the Freeway 4 methods of combining 2 graphics for rollovers or using the CSS rollover action?

Well, it looks great in Preview mode although it is off by a little bit of spacing when viewed in Safari however the CSS Menus do not show up or work at all in Internet Explorer 6 or 7.

I guess I will have to wait for the final version to see if SOftpress fixes this.
