I am working on a site, PLEASE it is not done nor close to being put
together (at least for your eyes - not allowed to show d/t it being
for an attorney) , so I am NOT looking for the critiques I normally do.
I am having some issues with the navigation bar /toolbar
main page: services toggle … I have changed all the layers… what
layer am I missing to make ti grey? I am doing ltbrown / lt gray mix
as you see w the other toggles when you rollover
also, i know this sounds strange… but I have made all rollovers the
same combos - but on the main page - different colors are showing -
how can i fix this…
this works perfectly on all other pages…
ughhhhh!!
please… I need to get this done asap… So he can proof it
Thanks. That’s what I did but if you look at the front page, the
pieces look out of place… But I did not move it…
How do I fix that

Try copy and paste the right one to the page that is wrong
If you are using a master page and you do have one page that works then copy the one that works to your master page then go to each of the daughter pages and reapply your master - making sure that you do not end up with any duplicates.
the problem is the press and the links button. They look out of whack
on all pages. How do I fix this?
or do I go back to “sleek” copy past the original again and color it
again? is that the easiest fix…
But I would like to learn how to fix also
Thank you

Julie, you’ve probably realised that there’s no magic answer to this
one. You’ve obviously moved some items by mistake, and the only way to
make it right is to spend some time aligning them again. You can make
sure you don’t need to actually touch any of the items by using the
‘Page’ view of the site in the left column of the Freeway window; all
the items are named there, and you can select any of them just by
clicking on their name in that column. It’s than a matter of nudging
them until they’re in the right place. If a button that’s underneath
another button needs moving, you can hide the top button in the
Inspector temporarily so that you can nudge the one underneath. You
also have Freeway’s terrific alignment tools to help you align left
edges, top edges etc. It’ll probably be easier if you zoom in on it
too, so you can really see what you’re doing.
Alternatively, you can paste in a brand new copy from the template and
using the ‘Page’ view in Freeway as above, together with the Actions
palette to show the colours, you can redo all the colours without
actually touching any buttons at all, so they can’t get out of
alignment. When finished, lock everything!
Thank you Paul
That is what I suspected but hoping…
