Decimal dot or comma problem

I found an old topic here about this (2 years ago) without a solution for me.

When I want to set a number with decimals, in slider time for example. the site hangs, when set to whole numbers it works.
I always use the dot as a decimal seperator in Freeway, but when I do this now Freeway change the dot into a comma and the timing does not work anymore!!!

I’am from the Netherlands, and the number format here is, comma for decimal seperator and dot for the thousends seperator.
The same ase set in my system preferences OS X 10.9.2.

This problem is new for me, it worked before, problem in this action? (carroussel 2)?

The Knowledgebase article also speaks of using periods rather than comma’s for decimals:

There is a sample available at the bottom of the article you could compare with?

You have to bare in mind, that international rules apply, when using numbers/decimals in code. Comma’s for thousands, periods for decimals.

@Richard van Heukelum,

The problem is, as you can read in my topic, I type a period but Freeway changed it in comma’s.

I the mean time I received a workaround for this bug from Remco Horemans, The Netherlands.

If someone wants a copy, let me know…

I have this problem with Carousel 2.

The default effect duration is 0.4. When I enter a different decimal value (e.g. 0.8), the period changes to comma, and the Carousel stops to work.

This means I can only use integer values or the default value (0.4).

Is this a bug in Carousel 2 action?

Thanks.

@b8

This is a bug for years, (in FW or carousel 2).

Personally I think Softpress is to blame, someone told me he informed them, but they don’t do anything to fix it…)

Oh man, what a terrible response! Sorry, it’s late and things does not go as planned.

Should be: Carousel 2 is from 9 Jan, 2013, so it can not be a bug for years.
