different lay-out in Apple and Windows

My site shows ok on a Windows-pc but on Apple one page (‘info’) doesn’t quite follow my master page lay-out. It moves slightly to the left. What is happening here?

It’s just the width of the scrollbar you are seeing that makes things jump to the left. It’s because your page content is longer than the browser window can display.

Sorry but I don’t understand.
Because the page content is longer than the browser window this has effect on the width. The length has effect on the width? There is no horizontal scrollbar. Why on Windows-laptop it looks fine.

Only because when there is more content than can be shown at once the
browser shows a vertical scrollbar so the visitor can scroll down
to see the rest of the content. And this scrollbar takes a certain
number of pixels away from the available width, which means that a
centered page adjusts its position slightly because it is now in a
slightly narrower space.

Does your Windows browser show a blank scrollbar when no scrolling is
needed? If so, that’ll be why you see no shift when scrolling is
needed.

Very logic indeed.
Thanks.
