See the link at the bottom and the ‘Our Services’ section.
I want to create a drop down menu using the ‘Target/Show Hide Layer’ Action.
This is triggered from the Our Services rollover, in the menu bar, but I cannot figure out how to turn it off when clicking on to another rollover.
I have set the parameters to sticky in the rollover, still no joy. Tried other settings also.
You may ask why not use CSS menus, I want the menu bar to look like it does now, I couldn’t get CSS menu to work correctly with the graphics.
The only sub menu section is the three in section as shown.
Is it possible to do this? If so advise greatly appreciated.
Regards
Mike

I am sure that you will get a better result using a CSS Menu - apart from the fact that the menu as you have it currently has no text content.
What not ask the question - how can I reproduce this using the CSS Menu action? The answer will be far better for your site in the long term.
While I dont have time at the mo to look at this I may have later tomorrow - if someone else doesn’t jump in first.

What not ask the question…
Typo - should have read “Why not ask…”

Hi Dave
I have tried with CSS menu action and cannot replicate this effect, I may go back and change the text to html.
The reason for the post was to ask members with a greater skill and knowledge than myself, that you may be able to offer a solution.

OK - I rattled this up for you. http://www.deltadesign.co/fw_examples/menus/rainbow.html
It uses 5 CSS Menus (so I didn’t have to do a lot of hand-coding) which are inserted inline into a single html container.

Hi Dave
Did you do this within freeway?
Or can you explain how I do this, can I also keep my background graphic?

All done with the CSS Menu action - nothing else.

Hi Dave
Thanks for that - nearly there.
Just one thing cannot get the ‘our services’ box any narrower than 148px when the rest are 138px.
Which means it just doesn’t work quite right.
What dictates this?

What dictates this?
CSSMenu settings>Main Menu Settings Width (in px)
Similarly you can set the Sub Menu width too.
But you have room to adjust the sizes of them all to work for you ie make them (all) slightly wider.
