Edit iframe same-site URL?

Hello - I am creating a site containing iframes and some of the iframes point to same-site html pages.

When I first create the iframe, I can enter the same-site URL as “stats.html” for example, if that HTML is in the same directory as the page containing the iframe. Or use relative file paths if needed.

BUT if I later change my mind and want to change the same-site URL, it seems Xway won’t let me do it. Well it lets me edit it the URL, but as soon as I click outside of the “URL” box, or hit the ‘Enter’ key while the cursor is inside the URL box, the URL reverts to the original URL as if I hadn’t edited it.

This does not appear to happen in iframes with https:// URLs. I can edit those and they ‘stick’.

So - what am I missing?

Hi BJ,

That’s a bug, and we’ll fix it in the next Xway update!

Xway should allow https and relative URLs, and does when you first create an iframe - but if you subsequently edit an iframe URL, Xway rejects non-https URLs.

Thanks for reporting this!
