Email not working with Have-Host?

Just checking to see if anybody using HH is having email problems. I haven’t received any for 2 - 3 days and I know some have been sent to me. All accounts under the main domain of my Re-seller account are not even working internally. I have about 10-15 under the main domain of hfdesign.net and any email sent to any other at that domain are not being received. As James now suggests I have been using my ISP’s mail server to send.

I’ve emailed James 2 days ago (at his gmail.com address) and have not heard, so I don’t even know if they’re getting through.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I’ve had no problems that I know of, even received some emails this morning.

Yes thanks Joe. I used a non HH email address to email some clients that host with me and the first reply says that an email sent to me 2 days ago was not delivered and bounced back. So let’s hope James can enlighten me.

Hi Howard:

I’ve replied to you offline but just in case, I’m also replying here.
I need more info… I need to know from what email address you are
being sent a message. I need to see the message’s full headers to
allow us to check the server logs. I need to know the domain to which
the email is being sent and then I need to check a slew of other
things. It’s quite possible that the person sending the email has had
their email account listed as SPAM at one point. Or the domain is. Or
the ISP from which they are sending the email is… There is nothing
absolute or guaranteed about sending and receiving email these days
but I do know that this is not the first time you’ve experienced this.

I have already checked that the DNS settings on the server are correct
and further confirmed that the Registrar is set correctly to the
proper nameservers… If you could please send me the info above, off-
forum, I’d be happy to look into the specifics of the issue.
