Embedded Video automatically shuts down

Hi,

I just got a new, more powerful mac. Ever since then, I use Freeway, any embedded video I try to preview automatically shuts down the program. Even on sites I had already built on my previous computer and reopened to test. Does anyone know why this would happen or how I can fix it?

Have you installed QuickTime 7 on your new Mac? It’s an optional
install, not part of the normal Snow Leopard loveliness. It will be in
the Optional Installs folder on your gray system DVD. I don’t know if
this is required or not, but it might help.

Did you migrate Users & Applications from the old computer or did you install Applications fresh? Just a guess but if you migrated FW try installing and updating FW on the new more powerful Mac. Now open FW and do something simple and quit FW. Now open FW a 2nd time and go try the hard parts.

I had minor issues when I upgraded my CPU and on the first run of new FW but fresh install with one quick start/stop and everything works well.

If you haven’t already, run Disk Utility and repair permissions.

Thanks for your help. I installed Freeway 5.5 on my computer and that took care of the problem.
