Embedding Soundslides web page in Freeway page

I’ve started to use Soundslides Plus to create Flash slideshows. It’s quick, cheap and easy. As well as creating the slideshow it creates an html page. That’s great unless you want to add your own touches like logos and links. It is possible to embed the web page in your own page. First you upload the Soundslides html page to the web. The Soundslides site has a utility which creates html pointing the uploaded page to the embedding page. The trouble is that, no matter where on the page I paste the html (see it below) by using Freeway’s HTML markup dialog, the slideshow always appears at the top left. Anyone have any idea how I could fix this? Thanks in advance.

Try putting it in a inline div then add left/right margins to center (or whatever).

Thank you Chuckamuck. I don’t really know what you mean but I’ll have a mess around and see what happens.

I’ve just realised that pasting the html has actually brought the slide show into the thread. I’m baffled.

Ok. Basically what I was suggesting is to put an html box inside another html box (inline). That second inner html box is where you then add the slideshow you created. To center the inner html box just add a left and right margin to it.

Yes that is interesting. This appears to be an RSS fead which would explain why it shows up…but why it isn’t blocked…

Just to add a bit to chuckamuck’s message:

To center the inner box HTML box, select Margin from the inspector, click Custom, and then tick the Auto-Center (non-float only) check box and then it’ll add “Auto” to the left and right margin’s to center it. That’s only if you’re using Freeway Pro.

Oh how I miss Pro after working with Express.
