Error when entering Freeway serial number in Upgrade box

Hello Jeremy!
I have been using Freeway up to now.
I want to buy Xway 1.0 but when I enter the serial number of my Freeway 7.0 the site gives an error. See screenshot.

Hi Anatoli,

I’ve edited your message so your Freeway serial number isn’t displayed. If you email a reply to a forum message, your email will be posted in the forum. You can email us privately with confidential information (using “support at softpress dot com”).

I can’t see any reason why that serial number wouldn’t work. Can you try again and let me know what happens? It’s possible that there could have been a temporary problem with Paddle’s sales system.

I’ve asked Simon to look into this. We’re not sure why that error is happening.

What browser are you using?

We will try to sort this out, but in the meantime it’s worth noting that Xway is fully functional in trial mode (for 30 days). You can download it and use it in trial mode by clicking on the Try button on our Xway page.

If so, it may not be possible for you to purchase Xway, because Paddle don’t allow purchases to be made from Russia or Belarus:

Out of interest, are you able to access Apple’s App Store from Belarus?

I use Apple App Store and Apple Pay.
They work for us.

It seems inconsistent that you can purchase apps from Apple, but not via Paddle.

We are planning to make Xway available from the App Store in future.

I wonder if it’s possible to use a VPN to avoid this restriction (“geo-spoofing”) although this might be illegal in some countries.
