It seems that I used to be able to do this and now I can’t - maybe I’ve just missed something. I’ll often just use the graphics capabilities in FW to build simple graphics, export them in whatever format I need, and then re-import them as needed. Building graphics on top of one another, for instance, to build a tiling background with an initial that repeats, seems to be impossible, as all I get is the underlying solid color graphic and none of the text graphics. I can’t seem to get the (layered) graphics to combine for export, and don’t see anything in the extensive FW Pro manual about this. What I wind up doing (please don’t laugh!) is taking a screen grab of the preview image, saving that as a tiff file, using graphic convertor to convert it to jpeg, and then I reimport it - so that I can then use it as a background image. If FW can’t do this, guess I’ll start using GIMP, but I’d rather not, as the learning curve on that is steep, and time is money. What am I doing wrong, if anything? [I know, I know - I need to learn a graphics program…just hate those things…]
Thanks in advance - Rick V.
