I’m sure this is going to have a simple solution, which will have this newbie kicking himself, but here goes…
As part of my website I have YouTube and SoundCloud clips of my friends bands. When I want to add a new one I have to shuffle everything down the page to make room. I’m sure there must be a simply way to add to the middle of a page without manually updating all the positions? Also, can pages be made to stretch automatically to the right height when adding?
I’ve tried to find an answer, but sometimes the difficulty when starting out is knowing what to search. Any help would be gratefully received.
Hi Matt, an inline layout would resolve this quite a bit - do a search for that, or sometimes people call it Box Model, which isn’t technically correct.

Hello Trev and thank you for such a swift reply. Unfortunately, I think that the in line layout is for Pro users only. Is there something similar for Express users?
Ah, sorry, I don’t know what Express can and cannot do.

A limitation of Express
However if you actually make a Table structure (using the Table Tool) and put your content within it you can then insert new rows at any point which will push the other content down.
One other thing that would help your design is to move or add a redundant navigation menu to the top of the page(s) (or directly below your logo).
If you’re using a Master Page, it would be very easy and simple to do. That way when your pages get “longer” - the viewer can still find other pages without having to scroll all the way down.
