Hello everybody ( and sorry my poor english )
I tried many times to check and uncheck the “background scrolling” option nut it sill goes uo and down ( it seems not linked to the page content )
does anybody have an idea ? I would like to see the background image moving together with the rest ( all in their fixed positions )

thank you for your kind reply
I I added it as the background image of the master page ( other settings are “center” and “center” )
I have a localized version of the sw, then I’m not sure about the name of those options in english; I think the other option is “fix/scrolling bg” and I tried it in both the possible way
I would like to see everything ( bg+page objects ) always in the same position else if I rezise the browser window

I don’t think you can have items on the page fixed in position in Express. You need Pro for that.
The bg will stay centered unless you use Background Scrolls

Dear David,
I tried with the Pro trial but nothing changed
I also tried to publish the page ( all ftp information is correct, I use the same with iWeb everyday ) but nothing happened, no messages, no actions, no … publishing
I tried again to check and uncheck the bg “scroll” function, nothing
I would like to start working with Fw and leave iWeb but … I already stopped on basic issues and this make me a bit worried

I’m now trying to understand how to change the browser background color ( I can change just the page bg )

If you have nothing selected on the page and then change the background colour to black then everything outside the page bounds will be black. If you want the page itself to be white then you could use a bg image which was a 25px high and the width of your page and Vertical :tile Horizontal: center on a centre aligned page.
In Pro you can create a layer the size of your page and colour it white and send it behind all the other items on your page.
